Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Primal Kitchen.  This website is owned by Primal Origins Limited. By using the Primal Kitchen website, you are accepting the following terms and conditions (hereafter referred to as “User Agreement”).

If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.


Primal Kitchen Delivers twice per week from Kapiti to Wellington to participating gyms and workplaces.  For delivery addresses outside of these areas, a courier service is available. Courier deliveries can only be made to a physical address.

Delivery charges will be added to each order and shown as a separate item before you choose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed.

  1. Meals:

The official cut off time for ordering meals for Monday and Thursday delivery is the Friday before at 9pm.  Ordering is online only; email orders are not accepted.  Order confirmation will always be sent from the website when you place an order.   If you have not received a confirmation email within 2 hours of ordering please contact us as this may mean your order has not been received.

Meals are delivered free to participating gyms and workplaces and some CBD areas.

Meals packs expressly state which meals will be included in Monday and Thursday deliveries respectively.

  1. Deli Items and Snacks:

Orders for snacks and deli items can be placed at any time.  If delivery is to a participating gym or workplace, delivery is free and will be included on the Monday or Thursday delivery run, whichever comes first after placing your order.

For orders that are not being delivered free to a participating gym or workplace, a courier charge will apply.  This charge will show on the payment page.

Claims for non-delivery must be made within 2 days of order, as tracking beyond this time is not practical. We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address. Title and Risk Goods are at our risk until the goods are delivered to your delivery point.  If you have given your mobile phone details, you will receive a text message advising you that your order has been delivered.   Once the order has been delivered, Primal Kitchen can not be responsible for it, neither can Primal Kitchen be responsible for orders that go missing at a box or workplace once delivered.


Orders placed on-line can be viewed by logging in with your own account details. Once an order has been received it may not be changed.

Updating Account Information

Any changes to account information can be made by logging into your personal account.



Payment and Delivery Orders will be accepted by Primal Kitchen for delivery in New Zealand only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from the use of this site is made subject to these terms and conditions and governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Items may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.


All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and are GST inclusive.  You may pay by Mastercard or Visa or online banking.  An order will only be processed once cleared payment has been received.

We do not accept cheque, EFTPOS or cash as a form of payment.

If a payment is reversed, the customer is liable for all costs associated with debt collection where the Customer defaults in payment for an order.

Purchasing Items displayed on the Primal Kitchen site can be made using secure paypal merchant services .   Paypal provides you secure transaction processing for Visa and Mastercard.

Primal Kitchen does not collect or store any credit card information.


Please choose carefully as we do not provide refunds if you change your mind. If you discover any defect in your product, you may return the item you purchase for a replacement within 3 days of delivery. When replacements are not available we may, at our discretion, provide a complete refund. We’ll notify you via e-mail of the status of the replacement or refund once we’ve viewed and processed the returned item. Freight will be refunded where the product is faulty or arrived damaged. Under our guarantee, faulty items that meet our conditions of care and use will be replaced or a refund will be issued at Primal Kitchen’s discretion. Primal Kitchen will replace any goods, which fail to comply with Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply. Please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from:

• Accidental damage or mistreatment.

Cancellation of an order will only be refunded if the order is cancelled 24 hours prior to despatch.


Primal Kitchen is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential  damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site.  This includes but is not limited to the loss of profit, even if Primal Kitchen was advised of the possibility of such damages.


Your right to use the Web Service is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use the Service on your account, and you are responsible for all of your own use of the Web Service. You may not download, modify, transmit, or otherwise use any material from the Web Service for public or commercial purposes.


This Web Service provides general information about Primal Kitchen and the products and services it offers. The information and material in the site has been prepared solely for the purpose of providing information about Primal Kitchen, the services and products it offers. Primal Kitchen reserves the right to change, delete or move any of the material on the Web Site at any time without notice.


By using our website, you understand and agree that all Resources we provide are “as is” and “as available”. This means that we do not represent or warrant to you that:
i) the use of our Resources will meet your needs or requirements.
ii) the use of our Resources will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from errors.
iii) the information obtained by using our Resources will be accurate or reliable, and
iv) any defects in the operation or functionality of any Resources we provide will be repaired or corrected.

Furthermore, you understand and agree that:

v) any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of our Resources is done at your own discretion and risk, and that you are solely responsible for any damage to your computer or other devices for any loss of data that may result from the download of such content.
vi) no information or advice, whether expressed, implied, oral or written, obtained by you from Eat Clean Limited or through any Resources we provide shall create any warranty, guarantee, or conditions of any kind, except for those expressly outlined in this User Agreement.



All content and materials available on www.primalkitchen.co.nz, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images and logos are the intellectual property of Primal Origins Ltd., and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Any inappropriate use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of any content on this site is strictly prohibited, unless specifically authorised in writing by Primal Origins Limited.


You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of our website and Resources with or without notice and for any reason, including, without limitation, breach of this User Agreement. Any suspected illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity may be grounds for terminating your relationship and may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Upon suspension or termination, your right to use the Resources we provide will immediately cease, and we reserve the right to remove or delete any information that you may have on file with us, including any account or login information.


This website is controlled by Primal Origins Limited. It can be accessed by most countries around the world. By accessing our website, you agree that the statutes and laws of our state, without regard to the conflict of laws and the United Nations Convention on the International Sales of Goods, will apply to all matters relating to the use of this website and the purchase of any products or services through this site.

Furthermore, any action to enforce this User Agreement shall be brought in the federal or state courts You hereby agree to personal jurisdiction by such courts, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.
